As per ADR 38/05, what is an acceptable ADR evidence for an “efficient” braking system for Low ATM Trailers?

The requirement in ADR 38/05 is that an efficient braking system shall be provided.  As there is no standardised test requirement for an “efficient braking system,” it is recommended that an approval applicant collects whatever information (eg. OEM test result, performance data, product specification, etc.) provided by the brake supplier. If you are unsure of what you have specific to your circumstance, head to the Department’s RVSA-dedicated Contact Us page.
